You, me, we and us

ATELIER - AMFI Design Semester 3

“In the depths of their soul, a storm rages, manifested in the struggle against the garments of pretense. Each tug of fabric signifies a battle against self-imposed constraints, yet through the process of adaptation, they find a sense of comfort in their skin. With familiarity comes acceptance, and they  emerge from the journey of self-discovery uncovered, embracing their true self  with liberation and authenticity.”

My inspiration for this project was drawn from the relation between queerness and nature, and how to translate organic shapes into the human body. Two beings are one, who went through the process of denying who they truly are to  slowly accepting it and having found comfort in their inner self.

Various techniques have been applied, from boning to pleating, tucking, or 3D  printing, to achieve my silhouette.
